Esther Ang’awa is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and aide to the 49th President of the Law Society of Kenya, Nelson Havi. Ang’awa is a devout of law and passionate about every person’s access to justice and committed to providing legal representation that is professional, efficient and cost effective.
She has a heart for community service and intently makes provision for various pro bono legal services through her Sheria Kwa Wote Initiative. Ang’awa is also an alumna of the Young African Leadership Initiative – Regional Learning Centre East Africa (YALI-RLCEA). Upon graduating, she sought to put to use the incredible leadership skills acquired at YALI by running for election as a member of the Council of Kenya’s premier bar association, the Law Society of Kenya. She was duly elected on 27th February, 2020 and currently serves as a member of the Council of the Law Society of Kenya for a two year term ending March, 2022. For fun, she sings, and attempts photography.
